Create a dedicated indoor retreat with the Finnish Sauna Builders 7 × 9 × 8 ft sauna room kit. Choose a wood finish, agree on a bench layout, and select optional bench upgrades and a Harvia heater package for a space shaped around your preferences. The kit supplies listed interior components for a prepared room; you provide framing, insulation, electrical wiring, and exterior wall covering. It is not a freestanding, ready-to-use cabin.
Why Customers Choose This Product
Product Highlights
Choose Your Wood Finish
Select Western Red Cedar, Thermo Poplar, or Thermo Aspen / Alder. The source describes Grade A knot-free cedar and thermally modified alternatives; confirm exact species, grade, color variation, and the material schedule before fabrication.
Agree on a Bench Layout
Listed clear 1 × 4 bench boards and supports are prepared for the agreed configuration. Backrests ship flat, with angled installation requiring additional onsite spacers; confirm seating dimensions, layout, and load limits.
Add Bench Details
Choose No Accessories, Bench Skirting, LED Under Bench Lighting, or the Luxury Package combining skirting and LEDs. These selections describe optional upgrades, separate from the standard kit accessories listed below.
Compare Four Heater Packages
The selectors list Cilindro 11kW, Club 10kW, Virta 10.5kW, and Virta Combi 10.5kW Wi-Fi packages. Confirm exact heater and controller models, sensors, remote-start safeguards, and room suitability rather than assuming Wi-Fi is built into the heater.
A Separate Combi Option
The source describes the Virta Combi package with a steam function. Confirm its controls, water requirements, maintenance, and permitted room conditions; this does not establish that the kit is a waterproof steam-room enclosure.

Confirm exact model suffixes, controls, stone quantities, sensors, voltage, phase, circuit requirements, mounting method, and installation accessories. Heater power alone does not establish room compatibility or heat-up time. The source's wall-mounted Virta wording should be checked against the exact model manual rather than used to plan mounting.
Ideal For
- Indoor sauna projects with a separately prepared room.
- Buyers comparing cedar and thermally modified wood interiors.
- Projects seeking a selectable bench layout and optional lighting details.
- Homeowners and contractors coordinating measured drawings and qualified installation.
Important Information
- This is an indoor interior kit, not a complete building. Framing, insulation, wiring, and exterior wall covering are buyer-provided. Confirm any additional substrate, moisture protection, drainage, ventilation, and floor preparation requirements.
- Finalize room measurements, door opening, bench configuration, and component quantities before fabrication. Nominal dimensions do not establish finished interior dimensions or occupancy.
- The kit lists an all-glass door, not a full glass wall. Reference presentations of a glass wall do not establish inclusion.
- Backrests ship flat; angled mounting needs onsite spacers. Wall boards are described as normally horizontal, with an interior seam where room width exceeds 8 ft. Confirm seam location and board orientation for the 7 × 9 ft layout.
- No Heater excludes a heater package. Bench skirting and under-bench LEDs depend on the selected upgrade. Confirm a complete order schedule rather than assuming every accessory is included.
- Have a qualified electrician verify heater voltage, phase, circuit, grounding, controls, sensors, and lighting requirements. Do not assume plug-in installation.
- Have the installer check room volume, insulation, glazing adjustments, heater clearances, mounting, ventilation, and guards against the exact model manual. Railing omission from a package does not remove required guarding or clearance responsibilities.
- For Wi-Fi packages, confirm external controls and all required remote-operation safety equipment. Follow manufacturer activation rules and inspect the room before remote heating.
- For Combi operation, confirm water supply or filling arrangements, humidity limits, drainage needs, cleaning, and material suitability. Do not treat a Combi heater as approval to operate the room as an unrestricted steam bath.
- Follow manufacturer temperature, session-length, supervision, age, hydration, and hot-surface instructions. Avoid use while impaired by alcohol or drugs and keep objects away from the heater.
- No medical benefit, guaranteed energy saving, heat-up time, occupancy count, outdoor-kit suitability, or universal commercial suitability is established. Confirm intended use and applicable site requirements before purchase.
- Request current kit, heater, controller, and lighting manuals. Confirm freight charges, delivery timing, access, unloading, installation labor, warranty, returns, and custom-order conditions before ordering.
